Poem
The smell of citrus in the morning a sour-sweet touches my lips—
The remaining pulp between my teeth and sticky fingers from the sour-sweet.
Smells of citrus in the morning diffused from a fragrant kiss.
Awakening senses that were deep in sleep remind you of promises we keep.
Although we say bye each morning, we know that we must part so we can meet
The sun will rise again tomorrow, and the day will begin sour-sweet. You know how to make my heart skip a beat.
It begins with citrus in the morning.
The poem Morning Mimosas is inspired by the aroma of oranges. They are a refreshing fruit in the morning and are often enjoyed in the famous breakfast beverage mixed with alcohol. When can we have our next drink?
